On the morning of September 11th, the awarding ceremony of the Project of Benefiting Overseas Chinese---Chinese Food Training Base was held in Fuzhou. Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council is responsible for the project. The Deputy Dean of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office Tan Tianxing, Vice Governor of Fujian Province Yang Xianjin, Inspector of C.P.P.C.C. Xu Guanhua, Editor in chief of China News Service Wang Xiaohui, President Huang Bin of Fujian Business University attended. President Huang Bin was given the plaque by the Deputy Dean of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office Tan Tianxing.
The Chinese Food Training Base is one of the eight benefiting overseas Chinese projects that promote the development of Chinese food, support overseas Chinese business, and enhance the cultural exchanges between China and other countries. The project will not only impel the extension of industrial chain, but also promote the economic development in Fujian. The Fujian province government paid high attention to the project.
It’s the first university in Fujian, and the second in China that gained the plaque. After the awarding ceremony, Fujian Business University will be in strict accordance with spirit of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and Fujian provincial government to integrate resource, to enhance training base construction, spread Fujian cuisine and its culture overseas, and promote Chinese culture soft power.
