Introduction
Fujian Business University (FBU) is located in Fuzhou City, a famous historical and cultural city, where the Maritime Silk Road begins, Zheng He’s voyages to the Western Ocean start, and China’s modern shipyard culture origins. FBU is a State-owned university which can be traced back to “Fujian Government Business School” founded in 1906 by Chen Baochen, the teacher of the emperor of Qing Dynasty.
The university has three campuses, i.e. Gulou, Lianjiang and Mawei. It covers an area of more than 1,500 acres and has more than 13,000 full-time students and 1000 faculties. There are 10 colleges with 29 majors as listed below.

The university enjoys the reputation of “the Cradle of Business” and “the Cradle of Foreign Trade” in the society, and has various educational co-operations with colleges and universities in Canada, Australia, Germany and other “Silk & Road” countries, in addition to Taiwan and HongKong Regions. Overseas Education College is the main body of the Sino-foreign educational cooperation of Fujian Business University. There are about 12 permanent and 30 rotating foreign teaching staff in the college each year.By the guideline of “Be able; Become noble; Belong global”,students can enjoy high quality overseas educational resources at home, and grow into international talents. there have been nearly 400 students and teachers going abroad for further studies, and about 200 overseas students and friends coming to pay a visit and tour studies in our college.
The College will continue to seek cooperation with the U.K, the U.S.A and countries along the “Belt & Road”, perfecting its teaching resources, bettering its courses system, and enforcing its teaching quality. By adhering to the mechanic of “Four Directions in One System”, the college carries its responsibilities of enrolling overseas students, teaching Chinese as a foreign language, creating opportunities for teachers and students to study abroad, and becoming a bridge linking the university to the world.
